Frank Dehne is a distinguished researcher in parallel computing and data science. Most of his work is interdisciplinary and collaborative. Using large scale cloud computing systems and GPUs, Professor Dehne and his collaborators build high-performance computing systems for solving computationally hard problems in bioinformatics, business data analytics, and computational engineering. Professor Dehne is also co-founder of the biotech startup Designed Biologics Inc. According to the Stanford-Elsevier list of the world’s most-cited scholars, Professor Dehne ranks among the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists in data science & AI.
