Chen-Song Zhang is currently a professor at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, CAS. He obtained his PhD from the Applied Mathematics & Scientific Computing program at the University of Maryland, College Park, US. His main research interests include numerical methods for PDEs, adaptive mesh refinement, petroleum reservoir simulation, and complex fluid/flow simulation.
